Austin Cat Sitters comes to your house to care for your cat and ensure your home is safe and secure while you are away.

Included in each cat care visit

  • Feeding

  • Water bowl cleanse and refill

  • Litter box cleaning

  • Cat playtime, attention, staring contests, snuggles, pets, and conversations from a healthy distance if needed

  • Mail & packages brought inside

  • Light home security (switching lights on/off, blinds opened/closed, checking locked doors) - upon request

  • End of visit report message through our Time to Pet app, which includes a detailed description of your visit, a check list, and many photos

  • Communication through the app with both your sitters and Manager

  • All of our visits are monitored by the Managers on duty (MOD’s) to assure that all tasks are completed appropriately to assist our clients if any changes to the visit need to be made

  • At least one member of our team on duty is trained in cat first aid and cat cpr

    We do not offer boarding as cats tend to be happier in familiar settings and it’s less stressful for them when they remain at home.

  • 20 Minute Meow Visit ($28.00)

    Up to 2 Cats (+$5.00 for each additional cat)

    Can be booked for morning (7am to 11am), evening (4pm to 8pm), or once a day visits.

    Can be booked multiple times of day. 2x per day would be am and pm visits. If you need 3x per day, please message a manager

    Can be booked on all holidays/ peak days.

    Some examples of kitties who are great candidates for basic visits are: kitties who are independent, 2 or more cats that keep each other company, kitties that are shy around strangers, guard cats, and more.

  • 40 Minute Meow Visit ($50.00)

    Up to 3 Cats (+$5.00 for each additional cat)

    Can be booked for morning (7am to 11am), evening (4pm to 8pm), or once a day visits.

    Can be booked multiple times of day. 2x per day would be am and pm visits. If you need 3x per day, please message a manager

    Can be booked on all holidays/ peak days.

    40 Minute visits are great for kitties who need a little extra attention, kittens and active cats, cats that love company, cats who have specific food instructions, medical visits, and more than 3 cats.

  • 60 Minute Meow Visit ($68)

    60 minute visit

    Up to 6 Cats (+$5.00 for each additional cat)

    Can be booked for morning (7am to 11am), evening (4pm to 8pm), or once a day visits.

    Can be booked multiple times of day. 2x per day would be am and pm visits. If you need 3x per day, please message a manager

    Can not be booked during holiday or peak days.

    Hour long visits are great for the kitties who really benefit from having a human in their home. Some kitties may enjoy an hour long visit if they are lonely, have anxiety without their human, takes a medication that needs adequate time to administer, or just need a little extra love.

Medical Visits

Our sitters are all experienced cat people and demonstrate a high degree of understanding of cats and their needs. During the hiring process we ensure that sitters either have experience administering medication to cats already, or are prepared and happy to do so. Austin Cat Sitters define a medical visit as a visit where the sitter needs to touch the cat to administer the medication. Using this definition pill pockets, food supplements, medications as treats, and medically prescribed foods would fall under a non medical visit.

Medical Emergencies

All of our Managers are kitty first aid & cpr trained and can help assist the sitters to determine the best solution.

One of the greatest benefits to clients of Austin Cat Sitters is the peace of mind that in the event of a medical emergency (a sitter finds a sick cat at the visit for example) we are able to get them to an emergency vet quickly, if needed. With a Manager on duty from open to close 365 days per year, in the very unlikely event we need to get your fur-baby to a veterinarian, our team will organize everything for you.
