One of the biggest differences between Austin Cat Sitters and other pet sitting companies, are our Managers! Our Managers support the sitters in the field by helping them with problem solving, emergencies, first aid and more. They are also available to our clients to answer any questions you have.

Our Managers

  • Anna R. - Sitter Manager

Anna has been with Austin Cat Sitters since 2021 and began her journey with us as a full time sitter. After demonstrating purr-fection as a sitter, she transitioned to a Manager. Having completed over 5,000 kitty visits as a sitter, she has seen virtually every kitty scenario more than once and is always ready to help a sitter with her advice and wisdom. Anna is the direct liaison with sitters too, when they need any addiotnal help and support.

  • Matthew T. - Scheduling Manager

With a background in engineering and tech, Matt is perfectly wired to navigate the often incredible complexities of scheduling. ACS averages over 30,000 visits per year and creating the most effective and efficient routing for sitters is a challenge. Having joined us in 2022, Matt has a ton of experience helping sitters and clients.

  • Kat S. - Onboarding Manager

Kat is another Manager with a ton of cat visiting experience with ACS, in fact she has over 5,000 completed visits too! As on-boarding Manager, Kat introduces new hires to the world of cat sitting which includes ACS process and procedures and meets them in the field for shadow visits.

  • James K - Operations Manager

As operations manager James oversees the entire company each day and has trained as a sitter and a Manager. With a background in running other Austin businesses (including a music school and gymnastics facility) he is perfectly suited to ACS. He currently has 5 indoor kitties, but has maxed out at 10, which admittedly was “a couple too many”

  • Sydni M - Training Manager

Sydni was previously a Lead Veterinary Technician in an Emergency Veterinary Hospital before joining ACS. She is currently a certified Pet First Aid Instructor accredited through Pro Pet. Sydni’s goal within ACS has been completing all ACS Manager’s Pet First Aid and CPR certifications, as well as training sitters pet health and safety. Sydni’s role ensures every pet's health and wellbeing are being actively monitored while owners are away giving clients a peace of mind.

  • Ally S -Manager

With over 6,500 visits Ally joins us in a hybrid role as a full time Sitter-Manager. She continues to visit kitties each week, but also has several Manager shifts and is perfectly suited for both roles!

  • Lauren S. - Manager

I love all animals, but cats are so special to me and I will probably always specialize in caring for felines. I also worked at a cat cafe and adopted out more than 150 homeless kitties in the three years I worked there. The amount of joy that came with finding these animals a forever home is priceless. I like to think I'm the mother of cats, always looking out for them and their best interest.

All of our sitters are interviewed and hired directly by the operations manager and have to pass a thorough background check too. They are on-boarded and trained by a Manager and then supported by the team once doing visits by themselves. Sitters have an extensive history of owning their own and caring for others kitties.

Our Sitters

  • Addie A

I’ve lived in Austin for 10 years and love this city. I grew up in the Dallas area in a house that always had cats, and now live with my own two feline friends (Athena and Apollo). When I’m not hanging out with cats, I’m working on my master’s degree in counseling, seeing local theatre, or hosting a board game night. I’m excited to meet and care for your precious cats!

  • Alex L - CVA

Have had cats my entire life. Currently have three of my own. Have been in cat care through volunteering, fostering for over 15 years! I have met cats of all different kinds! Started cat sitting on my own before joining the ACS team! Medically trained as a Certified Veterinary Assistant, which gives me all the experience needed for those medical-need kitties! I treat every cat I meet as if they could be my own! They all hold a little place in my heart. :)

  • Amelia W

I grew up with many dogs, a few cats and always had a fondness for animals. When I moved out on my own, the first year out I realized that I wanted to adopt a pet of my own, and so I did. KitKat is a precious polydactyly tabby cat - she's got thumbs! And a playful/polite personality. A few years later I'd meet up with my long-term roommate who also has two cats of his own, Vex and Vax. And the three of them are best buddies.

  • Amy M

An enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a lifelong passion for animals. About eight years ago, a feline friend named Nancy, diagnosed with feline leukemia, entered my life. Together, we shared five incredible years filled with love and companionship. As a cat sitter, I bring not only a wealth of personal experience but also a genuine love for these wonderful creatures. I am committed to ensuring the well-being and happiness of your feline friends while you're away.

  • Angie M

I remember setting up cozy beds for stray mother cats when I was younger, and caring for the kittens when they arrived. There has not been a time when I wasn’t caring for cats. After my cat Mr. Orange passed away a few years ago, I began fostering cats for Austin Pets Alive. I look forward to meeting and caring for all kinds of cats while their humans are out of town. I am familiar with all types of cat personalities, so I am eager to care for them all.tion goes here

  • Ashmeen D

Mom to 2 cuddly cats and a long time client of Austin Cat sitters. I decided to step to the other side and offer to others what Austin Cat sitters has offered to me, peace of mind that my babies are well taken care off when I am away.

  • Atlas W

I have two kitties that I love and adore, I can't wait to bring that love and care to your kitties.

  • Carol H

I was a veterinary technician for about five years before that. I have a lot of experience working with cats in general, including diabetic kitties. I’ve also worked with feral cats and kittens. I’ve had cats my entire life. I think they are perfectly magical. It may sound cliché, but I live by the premise that I work hard so my cats can have a better life.

  • Carla H

I’ve had cats my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. Pet sitting gives me the perfect chance to spend time with furry friends while helping out fellow cat lovers. I love to make sure every cat I meet feels safe, happy, and cared for.

  • Christopher P

Having owned and cared for cats for most of my life, I have developed a deep love and understanding for these amazing animals. Although my current living situation doesn't allow me to have a cat, I see this as the perfect opportunity to share my affection and expertise with the cats I'll be caring for.

  • Gerilyn M

Hello! My name is Gerilyn, but you can call me G. I’m excited to take care of your beloved kitty while you’re away. I am dedicated to providing them with paw-esome service, giving them all the love and attention they deserve!

  • Heather K

I'm Heather and I love cats! My current Cats in Residence at my home are: (1) Bug, my beautiful, spoiled, senior, brown tabby cat I've had since she was a kitten found in a box on the side of the road, (2) Dusty, my foster fail, formerly feral, hit by car and FHO survivor, gray tuxedo girlie who now loves to cuddle, and (3) Stimpy, my loud stripey orange boy, who was born on my church's playground to a stray mom and I fostered mom and kittens from day one until they were all ready for homes!

  • Iliana G

I have two cats of my own, Sadie and Chaos, and they are everything to me. I have been caring for cats for several years whether it was my own or through fostering for local shelters. Being an owner of cats, I understand the need of wanting to have a reliable person watching over them. With that being said I feel confident in my ability to provide the kind of care that would leave a pet owner satisfied that their pet is safe and happy.

  • Jacqueline D

I am a huge animal lover, especially cat lover who loves to play with animals in my spare time and do anything that involves being outside or making art. I have a terrier mix named Benji and two orange tabby cats named Henry and Harley.

  • Jenny M

I am a lifelong cat lover and have been taking care of cats for over 10 years. I take pride in making sure the cats I look after are healthy, fed, and safe. Pet owners can enjoy their time away from their pets knowing their fur babies are taken care of by someone who truly cares.

  • Jeff H

One of my favorite things is that moment I put my finger out for a cat to sniff and they push there face into it for me to rub. I know I am starting a great new relationship. I am a musician with a deep love for the feline. I have and have had cats in my life for the last 40 years and can not imagine my life with out the companionship I have grown to love.

  • Jo Rae D

I love cats and have had them since I was born. I used to be highly allergic to them, but I am not anymore. In the 80's, I lived in South Austin, off South Congress, in a small apartment with eight cats. My theory is having had those cats was like getting allergy shots because my allergy to cats went away and has not bothered me since. I have two cats, Avie (one year) and Willis (12). They were feral cats, and I'm happy they wanted to live with me. Willis is on Prozac, so I am used to giving meds to cats.

  • Jocelyn H

Hi, my name is Jocelyn! I have a passion for cats as I've had them my whole life growing up. Looking forward to meeting all your beautiful cats and kittens!

  • Kalyn M

I’ve spent my whole life loving and taking care of cats. I have three years in the pet care field, and I’ve grown up with cats my whole life. I think my love for taking care of them really started when I was twelve and my calico had a single kitten. She was young and had no intention of being a mom, so I had to take care of this little kitten as if it were my own. I then took care of that kitten for thirteen more years. I think that cats deserve the world and I’m pretty sure all cats would agree too!

  • Kimberly S

I have a lifelong love of cats. All cats. I think they're the best things on the planet along with good coffee and terrible movies. There's never been a time in my life without at least one kitty at home.

Meeting new cats is always an amazing experience. They are all so different and awesome in their own special way. I can't wait to meet yours!

  • Margaret H

I have lots of experience working with cats from my time at Austin Pets Alive! I am able to administer all kinds of medications, including subcutaneous fluids, and am very familiar with special dietary needs. Besides my professional experience with cats, I have always lived with my own kitty friends. My husband and I have two 7 year old black cats named Bebe and Goblin. Goblin has IBD and requires a special diet, and Bebe gets twice daily asthma treatments. I know how important it is to keep cats healthy and happy. I love my cats very much, and would like to treat your own kitties with the same care and attention.

  • McKenna M

As an animal lover and a spoiler of my pets, I'm new to cat sitting but will treat each kitty with as much care as if they were my own.

  • Monique S

I have lived in Austin for the past 20 years. I originate from a little town in Kansas. When I’m not caring for a feline friends I am involved in the film and television industry. I fell in love with cats shortly after moving to Austin and adopting two homeless kittens. They’ve been my closest companions over the years and I absolutely adore these little magical creatures!!

  • Olivia C

I am a reliable and passionate cat lover with plenty of experience caring for kitties of all ages and personalities. I understand that every cat has their own unique needs and routines and I'm committed to providing them with the care, affection, and attention they deserve while you're away.

  • Priscilla G

My name is Priscilla and I'm a pet mom to two silly characters named Sumi and Maki, a cat and dog, respectively. Like most animal lovers, my passion started very young and has only gotten stronger over the years. I work to bring the same amount of love and care I'd want my babes to receive while I'm away while being mindful of their boundaries.

  • Sarah S

Honestly, I’ve always believed I don’t own cats—they own me. When I’m not tending to my own four feline overlords, you can usually find me volunteering with neonatal kittens and expectant mama cats—helping the tiniest ones get a healthy start in life. I can’t wait to meet your kitties, spoil them, and keep them purring happily while you’re away!

  • Satori D

I have loved animals, but especially cats my entire life. I have been lucky enough to raise two cats of my own: Little K who I had as a little girl in Minnesota, and Princess Sabrina who is my 8 year old pride and joy now! I volunteer at the animal shelter as a cat socialization specialist, I truly love getting to spend time there. I look forward to taking care of your kitten or cat soon!

  • Sofia T

I’m a college student currently studying veterinary medicine! I absolutely love cats and have my own ginger toms at home named Tangerine and Orange. I started reading the Warriors book series about 10 years ago, and it made fall in love with cats immediately.

  • Stacy T

I am a passionate cat lover with years of experience caring for feline friends, I hope to combine my love for cats to provide a nurturing and safe environment for your furry companions. As a proud owner of three beloved cats—Siyah, Isadora-ble and Minerva—I understand the unique personalities and needs of every cat, from playful kittens to wise seniors. When I'm not busy tending to my feline overlords' every need, I enjoy reading, putting together building block sets and the company of my hooman friends. I hope to keep your cats happy and healthy while you’re away!

  • Sungil B

I have several years of experience with owning cats and caring for them. I have two cats from foster that I've raised and I love them both dearly. I have a good understanding on how to approach new cats or kittens and do my best to make sure they are comfortable with my presence.

  • Tori S

Proud pet parent. Expert snuggler. Plant whisperer?

Hi, I’m Tori! I’ve been caring for cats, dogs, and even the occasional bird for years—and I treat every pet like family. Whether it’s playtime, homemade chicken-and-rice meals, or giving daily meds, I make sure your furry friends are happy and healthy.

  • Tori W

I love animals, but I'm a cat person at heart and have had a few throughout my life. Currently, I have a cat named Bean. She loves to play fetch with her toys and watch birds through the window. Her latest fascination is watching me intently while I crochet and playing with the skeins of yarn. Cats are simply the best.
